Kennel Lapinvuokon Siberian huskies work on sleddog safaries in
Finnish Lapland during winter season. In off-snow season they live at
their home kennel in Kuhmoinen, Central Finland. Currently, there are
24 huskies aged 2−13 years.
The most common question is “What do the huskies do in summer?”
During the kennel visit you’ll meet the huskies and their owner Vuokko. She will tell you about their off-season activities, for example relaxing, getting ready for the next winter season etc.
Kennel visit lasts 1–1,5 hours and during it you will
- get to pet the huskies, interact with them,
- get to know their daily routines,
- hear stories about hiking safaris on northern Lappish Kilpisijärvi fells and
- get to enjoy coffee/tea, soft drinks, biscuits.
Prices:
- Adults €15 per person
- Children (4–10 yo) €10 per person
- Children under 4 years free together with an adult
We are happy the make an offer for groups. Kennel visit with barbeque (eg sausages, coffee, freshly made waffles).
